South Park Commons is a community of builders, technologists, and domain-experts that challenge you, encourage you, and help you build and validate your ideas. People join us at every stage of their career: from just out of school to mid-career faculty, from first-time entrepreneur to serial founders with successful exits. We leverage our collective expertise to help our members discover new ways of impacting the world.

Grace

Kintsugi is developing novel voice biomarker software to detect clinical depression and anxiety from 20-seconds of free-form speech, closing mental health care gaps across risk-bearing health systems, saving time and lives.

Dhruv

Dhruv is an ex-Googler with experience working on Machine Learning problems involving language and privacy. He likes thinking about big problems from first principles, appreciates thoughtful design in tech, and enjoys writing.

Arthur

Hello, I am Art. I am a US Navy veteran and self-taught developer. I live in San Diego with my wife and two kids. I am passionate about serving my community and solutioneering using technology. I like video games, space opera books, AI and cats.

Michael

Michael Lai's six word story is “failed professional athlete, striving education entrepreneur.” He is currently building Tinycare, a network of micro daycares aiming to fix the childcare crisis. Previously, he built Promise, a nonprofit venture studio for early childhood development, Minerva Project, Google.org, and competed on Harvard's varsity golf team (where he was decidedly NOT the next Tiger Woods). His passion for education starts from the classroom — 6 years volunteer teaching preschool, elementary, and middle school.

Nagendra

Nagendra is a technical guy, who loves building products. Earlier he worked with Facebook and lead the execution of messenger platform. Currently working on Helix - Support for Modern Teams, powered by AI, assisted by community.

Mike

Michael graduated from Harvard College in 2017 with a master’s degree in CS, as well as a bachelor’s degree in CS and statistics. During college, he worked in the George Church Lab automating multiplexing technologies for cell culture experiments.

Building the AI copilot for medication prior authorization. Previously Product at Canvas Medical and Design at IDEO.

Jon

Former co-founder & CTO in multiple saas companies that lie at the intersection of analytics, market research, cpg brands, and data. Love solving main street problems with strong tech. Skier, data junkie, UT alum 🤘, born in Colorado, home is SF.

Emmett

Thinking and tinkering with AI on the future of work. Also: content creator, writer, painter. Previously: consumer social founder, product at Salesforce, software at Stripe.
