South Park Commons is a community of builders, technologists, and domain-experts that challenge you, encourage you, and help you build and validate your ideas. People join us at every stage of their career: from just out of school to mid-career faculty, from first-time entrepreneur to serial founders with successful exits. I am a startup founder in artificial intelligence, with a variety of research and product experiences on autonomous driving, videos, cameras, maps, advertisements, etc. My research aims at building lifelong autonomous agents. Previously, I worked at Google DeepMind, Baidu Apollo, Facebook AI Research, CMU Robotics, Apple, Google Streetview, and Comcast Labs DC. I received my Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Maryland College Park. My PhD thesis is spatial perception from visual and linguisitc information.

Lifelong Midwesterner, currently living in Kansas City along with the wife and two pets (dog-Sunny, cat-Kit Cat). I'm passionate about building solutions with outcomes of healthier communities and people, which is what has led me to working in an endeavor that's aimed at helping to drive adoption of regenerative agriculture. (check out Rooted Ag) Beyond work, I love spending time in nature and observing, making warm connections with people, and listening to good music.

Marketer turned Marketing technologist: Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble -> Master in Data Science and Computer Science -> Data Scientist at a MarTech vendor Neustar and founding Marketing Data Scientist at Asana. Now building my startup fulltime.
