South Park Commons is a community of builders, technologists, and domain-experts that challenge you, encourage you, and help you build and validate your ideas. People join us at every stage of their career: from just out of school to mid-career faculty, from first-time entrepreneur to serial founders with successful exits. We leverage our collective expertise to help our members discover new ways of impacting the world.

Reginald

Previously an engineer at Affirm, Growth EM at Motive, and EIR at HVF Labs. Working on startup building an access management platform.

Ryan

Ryan is an AI researcher (prev. AI2, UIUC, UofT, MIT, Oxford) who works on large-scale multimodal models and datasets. Now exploring new strategies for dataset sourcing and curation with the goal of creating more capable open source foundation models.

Kendrick

Kendrick is exploring the intersection of AI/ML with climate (especially energy), but is open to other areas (including emerging markets). He has 8 years of VC experience and has a data science background. He is a Stanford alum and is Filipino-American.

Farhan

Builder with background taking recommendation, analysis and communication systems from 0->public co. Interested in socially impactful tech to promote user agency and access.

Chirag

Ex-Lyft. Growth hacker, Data/ML infra enthusiast, currently playing with LLMs. Loves to craft consumer experiences, solve genuine problems, and jump into building to get a product in front of users as fast as possible.

Malcolm

Malcolm was the first employee at Asana and worked on many pieces of the infrastructure there. Before that he was on the Android team at Google and wrote much of the initial version of Gmail for Android.

Exploring ideas in the AI + SRE world. Prev cold emailed my way to an early eng job @ Bubble, wound up leading product on Bubble's Infra + AI teams, then left once the company had 5x'd in size. Applied Math/CS @ Harvard. Occasional semi-pro musician.
